The Spoke Project is an initiative to provide a content management framework for the use of the Catholic Church in New Zealand. The framework allows the Church to create multiple portals for different aspects of the organisation (e.g. parishes) which can be managed in a distributed manner at no further cost.
Hearts Aflame is a Catholic Summer school that is held each year in a different location around New Zealand. Hundreds of Catholic young adults attend the school to learn more about their Faith. The website was built on the Spoke Framework to allow for maximum flexibility for changing content.
This is the home page of the Catholic parish in Northcote, Auckland New Zealand. The site was developed on the Spoke framework, and was the first template to be modified for the use of the parishes in New Zealand.
The NZ Catholic is New Zealand's national Catholic newspaper, published on a fortnightly basis. The website was custom built from the ground up, to provide a tailored content management experience that suits the environment of the paper and the team who work there. The site was optimised for use on a variety of browsers, and to allow for quick publishing of information to a wide audience to augment the paper publication.
The St.Patrick's website was custom designed to provide a taste of the unique historical and cultural significance held by the Catholic Cathedral of Auckland. The site contains a number pages covering the history of the parish and the vibrant community that it still sustains to this day.
As part of a mult-million dollar restoration project to bring St.Patrick's Cathedral safely through the 21st century, this website was created to provide information to Aucklanders as to what the project is about and how they could help.
The Being Frank blog was a project initiated by the NZ Catholic newspaper to bring a team of young Catholic writers together in order to provide a fresh perspective on their daily faith journeys.
The Catholic.geek blog was created for a team of Catholic "geeks" to blog about how technology can be utilised in Catholic ministry - both in New Zealand and around the world. The blog also provides commentary on key technology and Faith stories.
The Marist Alternative Education Centre is a centre for educating students who require an education method that differs from what is offered in a conventional school environment. The website raises awareness of the institution and the accomplishments it has made in educating those in need.
Marriage Encounter New Zealand is an organisation that realises the importance that strong marriages have in creating a solid foundation for society. The website was built on the Spoke framework to provide maximum flexibility and the ability to maintain the site without further cost.
